Nous utilisons régulièrement un profilé HSS demandé par le MTQ qu'on ne trouve pas dans le Handbook: HSS127x102x6,4. Où puis-je trouver ses propriétés géométriques?
J'ai accès à une calculatrice Excel qu'on utilise (en interne seulement) pour générer les valeurs dans le Handbook. Les voici pour un HSS127x102x6,4:

For HSS produced to ASTM A500, the design wall thickness is taken equal to 90% of the nominal thickness. The mass is based on the nominal wall thickness. All other properties are based on the design wall thickness.
The shear constant is the ratio of vertical shear force to maximum shear stress.
The torsion modulus is the ratio of applied torque to maximum shear stress at outer face.
